How to Play

Select a version above, choose your client and runtime in the right panel, then hit Launch. The game opens directly in this tab — no downloads, no plugins, no account required. Use the runtime toggle to switch between JavaScript (works everywhere) and WASM-GC (faster, requires a modern browser).

Version Differences

• 1.5.2 — The Redstone Update — Classic survival with Hoppers, Droppers, Daylight Sensors, and Nether Quartz. The lightest and most nostalgic build.
• 1.8.8 — The Bountiful Update — Ocean Monuments, Guardians, refined sword combat. The go-to version for PvP and the most widely played on Hyper.
• 1.12.2 — The World of Color Update — Full concrete and terracotta palette, advancements system, glazed terracotta. The most feature-complete version available.

Client Types

• OptiFine (EaglercraftX) — The standard build. OptiFine-style rendering optimizations, dynamic lighting, solid FPS on any hardware.
• Tuff Client — A community fork with extra QoL features, mini-map support, and additional gameplay tweaks for players who want more control.

JS vs WASM-GC

JavaScript runs on every browser and device, including older hardware. WASM-GC compiles closer to native code — noticeably smoother gameplay, faster chunk loading, and lower input latency. Available for 1.8.8 and 1.12.2 on Chrome 119+, Firefox 120+, or Edge 119+.
